I’ve always been fascinated with how things work and why they often don’t. This penchant for understanding and relentlessly optimizing complex systems led me to MIT and then Supply Chain Optimization and Analytics. Management Consulting with PRTM (now PwC) gave gave me the opportunity to add deep product development and portfolio management expertise. I applied those tools across dozens of Fortune 500 companies then stepped away from consulting to help Boston-based warehouse automation startup Kiva systems go-to-market and complete my MBA in the evenings at Babson. The recurring theme in my career has been the novel application of new technologies to perennial business challenges. My work has spanned Robotics, eCommerce, International Logistics, Manufacturing, High Tech, Blockchain, Construction, Home Automation, Marine Services, Performance Marketing, Branding, Pricing, Risk and Insurance. I’ve done work with Amazon, Pepsi, Chrysler, GM, Nissan, Schneider Electric, Xerox, Caterpillar, Johnson & Johnson, Saks Fifth Avenue, St Jude, Boston Scientific, the Department of Defense, US Postal Service and EverQuote among others. I’ve developed deep expertise in two-sided marketplaces, network effects, risk and developing products that hyperscale.
